Thanks for visiting! I’m happy to tell you a bit about myself, my experience, and how I work. If you have any questions or curiosities not answered here, please send me a message. I’d love to hear from you.
Professionally speaking, I am a licensed clinical psychologist in New York (since 2009) and New Jersey (since 2013), with a private practice in Red Bank. In my practice, I see adults aged 18 through the lifespan with a variety of concerns, including psychological trauma, navigating transitions, depression, grief and anxiety. I completed my graduate and post-graduate work at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco (an APA-accredited institution). I then completed an APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at a forensic state hospital near Los Angeles, and an APA-approved postdoctoral fellowship at the Harbor UCLA Medical Center. I have particular interest and specialized training in mindfulness and acceptance-based psychotherapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Compassion-focused Therapy.
In addition to my individual therapy work, I am also a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through the UCSD Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute. My colleague, Dr. Joshua Cohen, and I co-founded the Two Rivers Mindfulness Institute in 2018. We regularly offer the full MBSR course to the general public, and are constantly creating new mindfulness-based offerings. You can find more about us and our offerings here
